Santa was In Florida!

Well here is the long awaited photo of Siena with Santa this year. Remember it was when we went to Florida just before Thanksgiving that we got to see Santa this year for the 1st time. I really love this picture for so many reasons. More than anything I see the spirit of Christmas right through her eyes. She's so into Christmas this year. But I've been trying not to let her think that it's all about getting presents for herself. We did a drop off of some "Toys for Tots" the other day and I explained to her what we were doing. She was excited to put the presents under the tree and into the box that was at the drop off station.

As for Siena's gifts this year we really don't have anything major. Just some small things like games, books & of course the infamous "Blue Ball" that she's been wanting all along. But I did manage to find a great toy that I think she will love too. It's a counting Minnie Mouse car. When you push it, it counts forward and backwards & comes with a Minnie Mouse that you can take in & out. Being the MM little nut that she is, I think this will be her favorite.

I've been super busy lately. My bow business has been booming. I've had several shows lately and I still plan on setting up a small display to sell bows at The Little Gym here in town. So now, since everyone asks, where is my store, I can at least say that I have a few items for sale there. The owners of The Little Gym are the coolest. Not to mention, all of their employees are the sweetest girls and Siena just loves to play there.

Now that things are calming down, it will be cookie baking time. Cookies on the list this year have not totally been decided. But I know it will include some gingerbread men. Target had the pre-cut, bake & eat ones again this year, so how could I turn that away? I also bought a kit to make a ginger bread house. Siena should have a lot of fun doing that this year too. I don't know if any of you remember the one from last year, but it was a pretty pathetic little tiny thing that was falling down. So don't worry, this year's house will be the real deal.
